Marco is a business owner, husband, and father of two. He and his wife run a health and wellness company in San Clemente and are proud to call Laguna Niguel home.

Marco previously worked in business operations at Tesla and in public sector management consulting at Accenture, where he served state government clients overseeing federal grants management projects. He has also served in roles at the White House and the US Department of Homeland Security.

Marco holds BAs in History and Government & Politics from University of Maryland College Park, and was awarded a US Department of State Critical Language Scholarship in 2015 to study at the American Institute of Indian Studies in Lucknow, India. He has also studied at the University of Geneva.

A believer in the value of continuing education, Marco has completed multiple academic programs and fellowships in recent years, including:

• Hoover Institution Summer Policy Boot Camp (2018)
• Claremont Institute Publius Fellowship (2019)
• The Common Sense Society Founders' Foreign Policy Fellowship (2022)

He speaks Spanish and French, has visited all 50 states, and traveled widely.

Marco's love of learning, global background, and broad professional and academic experience position him to bring a unique worldview to the Board of Trustees and connect with students, teachers, and staff alike.

Marco is active in his church, and has been involved across South County in civic programs including the Orange County Sheriff's Department Citizens Academy. He has twice participated in CUSD's Principal for a Day program, onsite at John Malcom Elementary in Laguna Niguel and Las Palmas Elementary in San Clemente.

Now he's running for CUSD Trustee, Area 4, because he wants his kids and all Laguna Niguel families to have access to excellent public education in well-resourced schools with top tier facilities. He is ready to bring Laguna Niguel the new leadership, energy, and ideas it needs.
